South Acton Station Overnight Work 8-9 April
The Fitchburg Commuter Rail Line Improvement Project would like to advise our neighbors adjacent to South Acton Station that a work crew will be using a lift to install final drainspouts and perform caulking operations on the new station overnight Friday 08 April and Saturday 09 April. This work will stage from 10 pm to 6am beginning Friday evening and repeating Saturday evening as needed. The lift operations are scheduled to occur between 1am and 5am while rail operations are suspended.
This work is not expected to be noisy but we wanted to advise our neighbors that a crew would be working with the mechanical lift and lights overnight in the area. The project apologizes for any inconvenience this work and will cause. It is critical that these activities be undertaken overnight when the track is out of service.
